      Grown in Tamil Nadu, our GOTS certified organic cotton is selected for its softness and durability. Thanks to the expertise of our artisans and traditional weaving, it naturally becomes non-slip, while respecting the environment and supporting local communities.

      More than twenty medicinal plants – roots, leaves, barks, turmeric, manjishta, indigo… – are used to create each of our colors thanks to the virtues of Nature. Each of these colors has ancient Ayurvedic benefits, supporting health and well-being, such as relief from muscle and joint pain, headaches, or inflammation.

      Each Mahola accessory is the result of meticulous craftsmanship in India, in various regions renowned for their traditional skills. We collaborate directly with local workshops and artisans, without industrial intermediaries, in order to preserve the authenticity of the techniques and the quality of the materials.

      Our commitment is complete:

      • Manual labor is favored and mechanized processes are limited.

      Our textile accessories (bolsters, cushions, straps, eye pillows…) are made from organic cotton, in keeping with the high standards applied to our rugs.

      Our traditional pieces such as singing bowls, pooja bells or copper carafes are crafted using Indian artisanal methods, perpetuating ancestral know-how.

      The manufacturing process relies primarily on manual labor, with respect for people and resources.

      CARE AND WASHING

      Daily, after use, air out your eye pillow. If needed, you can clean the cover with a slightly damp cloth, then let it dry in the open air. Never put a damp cover back on the pillow to avoid mold. Thanks to the naturally antibacterial properties of the plant-based dyes used, frequent washing is not necessary.

      OCCASIONAL WASHING

      Cleaning can be considered occasionally: in case of stains, odors, or heavy use. The cover is washable separately. Hand washing is recommended: cold water, short soak of 5 to 10 minutes maximum, mild or ultra-natural detergent. Wash gently without scrubbing aggressively, then rinse thoroughly. Machine washing is possible with caution: delicate cycle, cold water or maximum 30°C, without regular detergent.

      DRYING

      Dry the cover in the open air, flat or spread out, always in the shade. Avoid tumble dryers, radiators, and direct sunlight, which can damage the fibers and plant-based dyes.

      The inner cushion should not be washed.
