From the outset of the project, we have been keen to literally imbue our rugs with the natural beauty of the world, and have opted for a plant-based Ayurvedic dyeing technique, rediscovering ancient local preparations that today offer us a palette of vibrant colours.

The yellow colour of this carpet, called Sun, is a result of the use of turmeric and many other plants. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric.
